The first Thursday of the month often sees GAPPS members finding their way past the sign in facilities at Gunther to take part in singing for the residents. We usually start at around 6.30pm and play along until about 7.45. By then a number of the residents are keen to gdt back to their room.
We don’t always get to do the Thursday evening program for Gunther, especially in Winter. These last couple of months it had to be cancelled because either there was illness among the residents or illness among the staff. For instance, the August program was ancelled because they were unable to get enugh staff to cover the the residents who wished to attend.
