Most third Wednesday of the month, the Garden Club gathers for the morning meeting at one of the members homes, ostensibly to share secrets of the owners garden, have some food and a good chat. This month was a little different and the group visited the Range Station Nursery. The nursery is not usually open on Wednesdays, but the owner agreed to have the place open for the eight ladies from Gayndah.
The Nursery is on a side road off the highway between Mundubbera and Eidsvold. So those of us who are new to area, it means a drive to Mundubbera and another fifteen minutes or so up the road towards Eidsvold. For the locals, there is a short cut over some gravel road reaching the Nursery by the time us local had made it to Mundubbera.

So Lorraine, as well as several other women went with Chaille, a real local. All in all, eight ladies made the trip in a couple of cars in preparation for a pleasant morning. The Nursery is situated in a vine forest and as you can see from the photos, there are lots of things look at, admire and buy. Lorraine purchased some colourful butterflies to place around in the garden.
