Lily’s 21st birthday was on Wednesday, February 4, 2026. She had a celebration with her Newcastle friends on that evening but came to Sydney on the weekend to 7/8 February to celebrate with her family. We were fortunate enough to be in Sydney for the weekend and celebrate with them all at the Sangbymabasa restaurant…

We went to Sydney for Lily’s 21st birthday celebrations. Her birthday was actually a couple of days earlier and she had some celebrations with her friends in Newcastle.
The function in Sydney was mostly to do with her family and their partners. This journal is just about the actual trip. The function at the SANG will be the feature to the next journal.

January 17 is Lorraine’s birthday and on this day we stopped first at Goondiwindi then Toowoomba to charge and do some shopping and followed by Goomeri arriving in Gayndah at about 4pm.

Day 3, Friday January 16, was a little bit busy because we were hoping to get to stay overnight in Goondiwindi and make it home to Gayndah early on Saturday afternoon. It didn’t work out that way,
