New Year’s Eve for us consisted of a visit to Belconnen Shopping Centre and a visit to the lake to watch the 9pm fireworks. We didn’t stay till the midnight show.

The Gold Creek area is a tourist sort of place on the north side of Canberra. We have been to the National Dinosaur Museum and the Cockington Green Gardens so this time we thought we would go see the Bird Aviary.

This could be Graham’s next job.

Yesterday we visited the Canberra’s National Arboretum. I didn’t know what an arboretum was but enjoyed the time there. Read on if you want to know what an arboretum is.
